Welcome to the Askett Village website.

We are delighted to welcome those interested in our village, which dates back to the 12th century. We take great pride in living in this beautiful area and being part of a very friendly and supportive community. We hope you enjoy the site’s content. If you live in the village and wish to be part of the Askett Society, please make your application below.

The Askett Society (originally The Askett Conservation Society) was formed in the 1970s, to represent and protect this conservation village from unwelcome development. However, since then The Askett Society has assumed a broader remit. Today, in addition to its conservation work, The Askett Society co-ordinates an active village social calendar – albeit currently suspended for obvious covid-related reasons – and seeks to enhance both the community and the environment for all those living in, or visiting, the village.

Members of The Askett Society are able to access all parts of this website. Please scroll down if you are interested in becoming a member.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are sharing reports from the 2020 AGM online. View the list of available reports
