The Last Post was sounded at 3pm and 2 minutes silence followed. After Reveille we sang the national anthem and went home to cream teas in our front gardens.
One of our many visitors in Askett visiting the wonderful Open Gardens event on 3rd July. Just kidding…… it’s a brilliant scarecrow which attracted much attention, and certainly scared the crows!
